This week we have been distributing flyers and posters in key areas. It will be impossible to put flyers through every door in the area, but we are trying to get our message across to as many people as possible. We are also taking posters to key places, such as community centres and libraries.
Our Facebook page has gained about fifty new ‘likes’ over the past two days which is wonderful, and potential students are registering interest on this site. Thank you so much to everyone who is helping to spread the word about our free school, either by talking to friends or sharing the information on social media such as Facebook and Twitter. If anyone would like a poster or some A5 flyers to help promote the school, please contact us via the link on this website or via firstname.lastname@example.org.
There should be an article in next week’s Chester Chronicle about the school, and an advert publicising our meeting at Hoole Community Centre, Westminster Road, Chester CH2 3AU at 7.30pm on Monday 7th April.
Next week we are visiting an existing STEM college in the London area, to share ideas, and we have a meeting with Stephen Mosley, MP for Chester, at the Palace of Westminster. We also have another meeting at the New Schools Network who have given us a great deal of help and support already. More news about these meetings will appear in next week’s blog!
